I have had nothing but bad luck when I play slots. I've invested $100 dollars in slots with no good return and when I see your videos I say to myself "how!" is it because the casino i go to is Indian reserved and they're not like the ones you visit??
I'm with you at this point, I gave up on getting a hand pay YEARS ago, and the only real time I actually don't mind losing is whenever I'm playing blackjack or spanish 21 with other people who are also enjoying being there.
I just find it sad that I couldn't last more then 10-15 minutes at most and almost always get very poor bonuses if I even get them at the slots with $20, yet I could go for upwards of 2-3 hours at spanish 21 with the same amount.
As for free-play from the casino or points converted to cash at the casino I frequent, it gets slurped up by the machines as soon as I start playing with either, and neither are enough for me to get any of the food as the conversion rate is just plain awful. Kinda sucks when the next closest casino is well over an hour drives away, and I don't like traveling too far to gamble.
TheKrazysinner At Horseshoes Casino in Elizabeth Indiana ( Southern Ind) Some machines have jackpots of $1000 if you hit that. Then attendants have to pay you no taxes but I think it's due to tipping. Idk
Hi VLR - you mention Aristocrat machines a lot, and I wondered if there are types of machines you enjoy more than others? (Like games with interactive bonuses vise only extra spins)
Love your videos, thanks! - PG
It totally depends on my freeplay. I try to bunch them together best I can and make it "worth my time" to go - so some months, just once or twice, whereas other months it can be upwards of twice a week.
I have often lost more than I've won, but overall, I'd say I am very lucky. 9/22/15 I won $10k on a $5 bet on the first spin! I also have won multiple jackpots of anywhere from $1,350 - $6,000. My best was nearly $20k . And I am not a high roller. Just lucky sometimes. I find though, that if I don't bet at least $1/per spin, I will get some good hits but not nearly as often as when I go up just a little more on my bet. If I bet the minimum, I get small payouts, but usually not anything to write home about. Do you find this to be true, or do you feel you do as well when you bet below $1 ??
I love watching your videos !!
I enjoy your enthusiasm while filming, you make the videos very fun to watch
and that's why I have started my own channel in hopes to model my channel like yours 😁
Hope that one day we can film a session together ?
Thank you 😅
Question ? do you like or have better luck with ?
Bingo Based machines (Level 2 Casinos) or other kind of arithmetic machines (level 3 Casinos) ?
*Here in my hometown our Casino is a Level 2 so all machines are Bingo based 😓.
Greatly appreciated if you could answer it on your next Video 😁
Good to see, well done.
May I also say it was very wise words used at the start of the video, only bet what you can afford to lose - - small stakes and enjoy yourself. Betting big is for professional gamblers who can afford to lose, and for maniacs that are prepared to lose maybe more than they can afford.
My mindset is, dont go to see how much I can win, go to see how little I can lose, if after having a good time and some entertainment I happen to show a profit then thats a bonus.
I'm curious why the machine required an attendant to pay that out....it was not a $1200 "event" win, the win that triggered that was only $320, you already had the $900+ in the machine from previous play. It would make sense if you had won $1200+ during a bonus cycle that then triggered the lock out. Here it is only considered a hand pay if the $1200+ happens during a single spin of regular play, or a cummulative 1200+ during a bonus round (as a bonus round win is considered to be part of the regular originating spin).
Yeah the past couple of years silvertons has made it so if you win on a jackpot the attendant has to come and pay us.. stupid but that silvertons..😉😉 nice hit BTW I can walk into silverton and hit nothing haven't hit for a while there love my Resort and Santa fe though..
There was no tax paperwork involved, so I'm sure it was just a convoluted accounting thing on the casino's end - either the jackpot itself being over a certain amount or the total on the machine being over the $1200 threshold so they just have it set to being paid by hand. Either way, no taxes were involved so it was a minor inconvenience.
OMG - Looks to me like you're cashing out $1294.06, with the hand pay caused by the little $20.97 Gold Reel Jackpot. AND you are not only a super-slotter, I see you are also a super-scholar. Who besides you ever used Ridonculous in a sentence? Nobody I know. I didn't know what the word even meant until I looked it up: "Wild, ridiculous, knowing no bounds". Sound familiar? Congrats on your win.
I've seen 2 different but similar versions of Rock Around the Clock and wonder if you had too. If so, a video that showed how they compared would be interesting. I remember playing what I believe was a third version around 6 or 7 years ago in Vegas and did relatively well, spending my whole vacation on those machines and actually came out ahead. Coming out ahead is unheard of for me so I remember it fondly. The machine actually displayed how close you were getting to a particular bonus so you could choose the machine closest to that point. I remember getting fairly close to one and having to leave to see a show with my wife. I came back to see it had been claimed. Arrgh. But I think one of the big changes was to eliminate that bonus.

How hard is it to kick butt like that in the time you did but have enough common sense to walk away? Because part of you wants to stay and play longer, but another part says be smart about this. If I hit that much in that time I would prob stay for hours and lose a chunk of it.
The slots seem a little looser in the ol LV. downtown casinos but try not to stay in there hotels. We unfortunately, we checked in really late (12:30am) and took a room in the Binions hotel. That was as unpleasant an experience as my family ever had. The room smelled like trapped smoke, I mean, towels, carpet, bed sheets, chairs and linens all....reeked. (Although it was billed as a non smoking room. But down the hall there was 2 hookers, 1 a trangender taking in customers it was awful. We ended up at very nice room at the Aria but it was pricey.
I'm not a very big fan of downtown. A lot of the casinos there aren't well ventilated so they kinda stink of stale smoke. lol Some people love to gamble down there tho, but I wouldn't know since I refuse to go. :)
VegasLowRoller...like I said SUPERB VIDEO! I think we all wish for our slotting sessions to go just like that one, but we all know casinos aren't built on winners! Lol. I'm sure I've built a couple myself, feels like it anyway. That's why I enjoy watching yours..
